RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Provide support to Executive Director including managing schedule, editing documents and composing memos
Conduct research, compile data and prepare reports for consideration and presentation to the Executive Director and for Board meetings
Schedule appointments and maintain/update contact list
Answer general inquiries via phone and email and direct calls from the front desk
Greet and screen BronxNet visitors and clients
Distribute mail to different departments, e-mailing, and filing.

REQUIREMENTS: 

Two years experience in similar office environment in a similar capacity
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Familiar with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Experience with scheduling and contact management solutions
Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
Must have the ability to work well under pressure and manage several projects simultaneously
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise good judgment and discretion
College degree

DESIRED:

Bi-lingual in English and Spanish
Extensive knowledge of the Bronx
Knowledge of Adobe Suite a plus
Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy while interacting effectively with a diverse group of people
Demonstrated passion for community media
