RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works with the Director of Training & Special Projects to help implement production and media workshops for Bronx residents

• Provide support for Trainers

• Teach media workshops including studio and/or field production

• Help facilitate class enrollment for potential trainees

• Keep curriculum current, as needed

• Perform outreach at events when necessary

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least two to three years experience in education, training and/ or working with
youth

• Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills

• Organized and exhibits attention to detail as well as “follow through” on tasks and
goals

• Be a champion of community media

• Familiar with Google suite and MS office

 

DESIRED:

• Hands-on production experience producing, production managing, and/or crewing
productions in a professional television station or media center environment

• Graphic Design skills

• Comfortable with public speaking

• Knowledge of the Bronx a plus

• Bi-lingual Spanish preferred
