Somerville Community Access Television (SCATV) is the community media center and public access TV station serving Somerville, MA. Winner of the national award for Outstanding Excellence seven times since 2005, SCATV operates one cable TV channel and provides training, equipment, and facilities for the production of community TV programs.

SCATV is looking for an energetic, community-minded video producer to join the SCATV team full time. Primary duties include overseeing DVD traffic, uploading programs to the broadcast server, creating the program schedule, and designing the look of the channel. Other duties include producing station promotions and TV programs, and assisting members and staff with their studio and field productions. Hours include evenings and some Saturdays.

The successful candidate will have a college degree, excellent organizational, computer, and communication skills, as well as substantial digital video production experience. He/She will be comfortable working with a diverse membership. Conversational Spanish, Portuguese, and/or Haitian Creole a plus.
